If the dharma initiative made their own beer, then they must have made their own customized 8-track plastic covers. Or maybe the episode takes place in an alternate reality where everything was exactly like the real world except the color of 8-track plastic covers. LOST mystery #342 solved.

I love this scene... sorry to be a pedant here, but the original 8-track tape that "Shambala" was on (Cyan album) was in white or blue plastic, not red. Then again, it could very well have been a K-Tel tape...
