I wrote a novel where a character named Tatakai (Japanese for Battle) "played" the Id Software game Doom 3, and after she defended Earth from the same enemies for eleven years, with the help of the Soul Cube. "314 times you have called upon us in battle," it said, "Never once have you failed to say thank you." "Never Once" attached itself to the instrumental song by BT, "The Antikythera Mechanism". This song sounds very much like what Tatakai would have sang in reply.
