Jam
28mins

1976

Tommy Bolin ~ Guitar
Jeff Beck ~ Bass
Bobby Berge ~ Drums

After recording this jam, Tommy and Jeff switched instruments and recorded another jam on the other side of the tape.
Unfortunately studio owner Phil Polimeni erased that side.
A mistake, I bet he is still regretting .

  • That was just plain nasty.

  • Hey All----Part 1 and 2 are TOMMY/guitar, JEFF/bass, BERGE/Drums recorded at PHILLIP POLEMINI"S GlenHolly Studio --Late Spring 1976 ------TOMMY and I are not on part 3. This is JEFF and Friends live somewhere?

  • read what it says. after this jam they switched to beck on guitar & bolin on bass. But the tape operator stupidly erased that part. You can hear bolin use his echoplex on this- a clear indication that it's him.

  • Hey Connyfogle...I'd have to agree with bootytoot and absurdplanet...sounds like Jeff is on guitar on this track.

  • Jeff just rips it up!

Great to hear him just let loose and jam....

  • Because he IS involved!! I have the whole jam (27 mins and 47 secs) and the last 10 mins and 20 secs (which is this part ^^ mainly) are actually the other side of the tape and Jeff is playing the guitar and Tommy is playing the bass. :)

  • This is superb Jeff Beck, but why is it being presented as if Tommy Bolin was involved?

  • Wow. Great!!!! Just to show I'm not close-minded.

    Very good yardbird alum.

Shape of things to come is nutty and cool.

    Beautiful music. mellifluous distortion.

Beck is super clean and cool. Like Blow UP and better. That other guy was in that one, right?
