How to Build your own Laptop

Would I build a laptop... HELL YES I WOULD. I wouldn't just build it to save money, I would build it for the challenge, for the power, and for the sense of pride that I get for doing something that barely anyone would even think of doing. That to me defines me as a geek, by looking at the challenges that technology throws at me, and with a soldering gun in one hand and a hot pocket in the other... I say.... Challenge Accepted.

i dont think that this guy realizes my making your own laptop you save money because i no someone who was able to make a gaming laptop for 500 dollars that had the same processor cpu gpu all that stuff as a 1000 to 1200 laptop if you bought one off line

@jimbobanalbeats Not only that but each part will most likely come with its own warranty. And if you're buying from an OEM you only get a 1 year warranty for the whole thing... Whereas if you buy all the parts yourself you can get a 3 to 5 year warranty on your hard drive. The hard drive is the most likely component to mess up.
