I checked out the Plaka Restaurant and the Gyros are delicious! Friendly attitudes from the servers. Definetly going to try out the boat ride out to the Gulf on my next visit to the sponge docks.

my grandpa came from greece in 1953.he was horrified at the way the tarpon greeks behave.mean cheap low class.i want everyone to know were not all like this.i have a business and i refuse to work for my own people. thats sad.you people need to mow your lawns paint your houses and pay what the job is worth.if you pay 100 bucks for a 300 job. you get a shitty job.dont believe me. look around. the sponge dock neighborhood medians..the whole town is run down.weeds at the community center say it all
