Here's gameplay from a part of the demo that is available in the JPN PlayStation Store. You can actually roam around freely after this point, but someone wanted to play Street Fighter IV... so I didn't get to show it.

@D202116 You do know that I'm not American, do you ? And FYI, the first game to popularize (or in your terms "invented") the GTA formula was Body Harvest for the N64 which came out before Shenmue and was made by the same people behind GTA.

Sega INVENTED the gta formula you like so much, with it's game Shenmue. then came this game, yakuza, which is nothing like gta except it has a city in which you can roam freely
