This clip will answer you questions on what is IsoBreathing. I compare it to oxycise and body flex.

  • Congratulations on your weight loss. To get off of a plateau exercise does help but body positioning is the key. Check out some of the snippets on youtube and that will help you with some body positioning. For Your breathing start out slowly to inhale to the count of a slow 1 and exhale on the count of 1. do that for at least a week. If you get lightheaded then go back to your normal breathing. this must be done a number of times during the day to get easier. start with that.

  • I heard there was a lawsuit against bodyflex on the forums of the oxycise site (questions section, "oxycise vs bodyflex" thread). You spoke about the bodyflex one but does the oxycise one use body positioning? What are the pros and cons of each system? I have lung problems and cant exercise much.

  • Bodyflex has you holding your breath when performing an exercise which can increase blood pressure and individuals have become lightheaded and passed out. Oxycise has a different form of breathing technique and goes from one exercise into the next with no breaks. The breathing is also several little sniffs to increase your breath intake and then an exhale. For someone with lung problems this can be difficult. With IsoBreathing it is slow and rhythmic. Much easier than the other 2 programs.

  • sweet. i would like to lose weight, and i know it's slow for me partly because my blood oxygen level is usually only around 86-90% (without my oxygen machine. with machine 96-99%. i should practice this sort of thing though since the doctor suggested breathing exercises. my lung capacity itself is fine, it's the vessels in the lungs... 70% of them died off so I don't have much oxygen absorption. i'm kind of afraid that after spending so much money that i wouldn't lose any weight.

  • The whole secret to losing weight is watching what you eat (healthier portioned sizing of your foods) strength training and aerobic activity. . Body positioning is the key to targeting muscle groups and working them properly. The breathing does work with those such as yourself. I have worked with many on oxygen machines. You do feel better afterward. Let me know what I can do to help you out.

  • okay, thanks :) I do watch what i eat and i try to eat food as close to how God created it as i can. that got me 40lbs of weight loss. after that i hit a plateau- i started exercising but it still didn't get me anywhere. i figured maybe i was keeping my breathing to shallow. thanks again :)

  • thanks for responding so promptly. i'll consider a purchase if i get some extra money :)
