  • Are the permits issued in a favorable county recognized in other counties (without a bunch of grief attached)?

  • @maxfirepower The permits are issued by the county one lives in but it's a state wide permit. The issuing counties can put regulations on the permit. Some counties are more loose than others. When traveling you must obey the regulation put on your permit by the issuing county and the regulations of the county you're traveling into.

  • That policy is fucking NATSI. It would be a hell of a a lot easier to buy a plane ticket to a neighboring state apply for a permit there and fly back and be GOLDEN!

  • @1911GreaterThanALL That doesn't work in CA. CA doesn't have ccw reciprocity with any other states.

  • @nelsonboy707 Are you sure? My father was in a traffic stop in Sacramento and he presented his NV issued permit and the cop didn't do anything.

  • @1911GreaterThanALL Im absolutely 100% positive CA doesnt honor CCW permits from other states, none. CA also doesnt issue non-resident CCW permits. In the case of your dad, he most of been stopped by a cool cop who respects the 2nd Amendment. Also I think there's much discretion on the part of the cop. The way I understand this for example, cops have the authority to but arent mandated to write citations. Also the Sacramento Sheriff has recently loosened up and is regularly issuing CCW permits

  • i lived in chico walked in butte county sheriff office payed filled out everything ,took a picture, prints, qualified on range, and got mine in 2 weeks and now i walk around in walmart with a loaded glock and spare mag and a recon 1 folding knife and nobody knows it .but its bullshit how hard it is in different countys

  • I live in LA, and it is corrupt. A friend of mine didn't get one and I got one, we applied at the same time at the same district. And my friend didn't get one and I did. What comes clear, we have everything in common, except our incomes, mine is very high compared to my friend.

Statement, her life wasn't in danger, but mine was.. REALLY? I'm working and drive in more safe areas......

It sounds clear to me, that income, apparently counts.....

  • Another reason why I refuse to live in states that dont respect or honor 2nd amendment rights.

  • Move to Kern County the Sheriff here is not like this.

  • cali sucks when it comes to gun laws. when i used to live in la, they said there was a 30 day waiting period for a handgun and the ccw law simply made me turn away from the whole deal. i've moved back home to pittsburgh, pa last year and i was able to purchase my handgun after a quick background check and obtain my ccw license within 2 weeks for $25 which expires 4 years after issued date

  • ...and twards others then you'r prolly like me and do whatever the hell you feel is right without any issues from the surounding authority. Wise up people. If the law is road blocking you in these 'touchy' areas of life and saying you cant play...theres probably a damn good reason for it and your just to 'out there' to see it from the same perspectave as the rest of us. Sry bro.
