Birdwise Video Magazine - July 2007

Fish hawks and bird mating habits fill the July 2007 edition of Birdwise program. This Olympia, Wash-based independently produced birding program features the Osprey as July’s bird of the month. The 30-minute show airs Thursdays at 8:30 p.m. and Sundays at 1 p.m. on cable channel 22 (TCTV) available in Thurston County. Other segments in the July show provide an explanation of the mating practices of birds, tips on bird baths and a tour of Tolmie State Park . As always, Birdwise offers birding news, a calendar of events and an avian forecast of what to look for in the month of July. Birdwise receives technical assistance from TCTV, and subject matter expertise provided from the Nisqually National Wildlife Refuge and the Black Hills Audubon Society.
