Who care this are just regular ol feeders to me why infest so much on such a meager fish a waste of a beautifully set up tank ..... Man at least do something like discus if your into the calmer fish what is that a 180 just sayin bro take advantage o your tank you could put those guys inna 55 and the would before than happy hope you give it some thought

we recently got 2 red eared sliders turtlea

and we bought the local pet stores supply of the mickey fish because they were out of the feeder guppies we usually feed the turtles , but we have fallen in love with th mickeys and the turtles leave them alone , one of the mickeys gave birth, we were surprised when we saw all the tiny mickeys, any advice on caring for our new little friends? thank you.

ahaha thats amazing and useally it goes like that :D.

You should make enough hiding spaces for the little ones so they wont be eaten by the parents , try to add some quick growing plants ( mirco algae on it what the babies will eat) and just try to mass up the food to tinny particles :) .

Hey man ,

I give them little plants ( so they can eat the algae from it ) Some algae tablets and that paper looking food.

And some micro organisme( glasaaltjes in dutch) .

I had bought a pregnant red female swordtail from my local fish store, so I'm not sure what she was pregnant with. Most of the fry came out the normal orange color, however, a few came out very pale or white. Once these fry matured, it turned out 1 was a Snow White Platy, 1 was a Mickey Mouse Platy, and the other two were completely white Leucistic Platies. My question is what could the father of the fry have been? And is the White color morph rare?
