Yes, this used to be the "theme song" played for the Queen Mother whenever she would attend public outings. But they had to stop playing it cause the crowds would break out laughing whenever the old lady would appear cause of the association with it to Monty Python. Poor old girl had no idea why everyone was giggling.

The name "sacbut" actually comes from the Middle French words "sacquer" (to push) and "bouter" (to pull), referring to the slide mechanism. The early sacbuts didn't go low enough to make those farty noises like the ones do now.
