@bemuzic I was planing to join the PRS for the same reason but if the venue doesn't pay the fee you don't get any and they get a bollocking so probably best for me to steer clear at the moment or I might bet barred!

@MrRandomWritings I put my songs on a site called Sentric. You don't pay anything up front but you can claim money if you play your own songs in public (as long as the place has a music license!)
