  • So lush, so romantic, so full of heartbreak. I saw the film 40 years ago and the music still moves me. Larry

  • Still brings tears to my eyes! I saw this movie when it made its premiere in New York, and got married later that year (1968) and saw it when it came to my hometown. It really works on your heartstrings. Wish a DVD was available. Thanks for sharing this, brings back lovely memories!

  • I really liked the Morrissey version of the song.. I discovered the original today and like that even more.. This is real quality music.. beautiful.. I love the strings..

  • First watched this movie when I was a teenager. Just wonder how I find it if I have chance to watch it again after living for more than half a century now.

  • I saw this movie in the Philippines with my girlfriend 40 years ago. I bought the lp record. But can't find the dvd or vhs or soundtrack in a cd. I have Timi Yuro' cd.

  • Does anyone knows where can I download this movie? I've watched it on VHS, but I don't have a VHS reproductor anymore... :(

  • @tsutsu1218 thank you very much!

My sister gave me a DVD of the movie "Interlude" for Christmas several years ago. She found it online somewhere, but she can't remember. It appears to be a copy made from a TV broadcast, so the quality is somewhat diminished, and the opening theme song and credits start after the first few seconds. Overall it is OK, better than nothing! Guess you will have to keep checking the internet. Try this email, they had one late last year: enquiries@vicpine.co.uk

  • @tsutsu1218 speaking of DVDs is this avaliable on VHS or where would any of you know where to buy it?

  • A haunting poignancy! I watched the movie in late 70s when it was shown from time to time on Sunday mornings in Ocean Theatre in Hong Kong.

  • Just got the DVD and watched it a couple of times. Was always hoping to see it again. Never on TV! Glad to have found it! Saw it originally in the movies. Love the story and the music!

  • Will never forget this movie during college days; great music
