  • Dear HickfromtheSticks: Thanks for the video. Just a concern -- is that a furnace behind you ? Please be careful using and storing powder near sources of heat/flame. Again, thanks for a good intro video on shotshell reloading.

  • SERIOUSLY thanks for the comment there Fire Marshal Bill "LET ME SHOW YA SOMTHIN" lol NO I do not keep my powder by the Friken Furnace But seriously thanks for the Safety Tip....... LOL

  • how many times can you reload a shell. do they ever get worn out?

  • Im sorry this has been answered already in the comments a ways back don't mean to sound harsh but I always check through the comments before I post my own. Thanks for asking though.

  • great video. very informative. i am thinking about getting into reloading because my dad has a 16 gauge shotgun that is hard to find ammo for around here. i found all the stuff needed at midwayusa but i had some questions. can you tell me how long the lead and powder last? for an 11lb box of lead it costs 56 bucks and 4lbs of powder costs 65. i see people using 1 oz of lead and that is about 32 cents a shot just for the lead which seems a little expensive. thanks for any help.

  • Sorry took so long, I never paid that much for either shot or powder, shot should only run you around $15.00 and powder is very much under $20.00 for a big jug and you can reload alot of shells for that. where do you live in Alaska???

  • so i have a question. Is it possible to to take the cheap hulls at walmart (the 20 for 100 bird shot ones) and after firing them reload them with 00 buck and make some home defense type rounds. or can you only do that with high brass and the low brass hulls have to be used for bird shot or reduced recoil rounds only?

  • your camera quality looks like what they used to film oldschool cctv footage with

  • would have been a good video if the sound was better i could barely hear anything other than that still a good video to watch to see how the steps r done helped me out

  • It's Benelli.

  • hi there, i look to reload my shells from clay shooting in the uk and was wondering how much powder etc you use for 28g of shot with fibre waddings?

    thanks

  • @megadeth22885 That is what I thought, both for the shot to avoid the lead and the powder to avoid contamination. BUT, I am no expert... That is why I reading this before I think about buying a reloader.

  • verry help full.

how many times can a shell be shot until you shouldnt reload it anymore?

  • @HickfromtheSticks ROCK ON FIRE MARSHAL BILL!!!!
