Exponential possibility - Harvest Moon Tribute to Claire

Wow this vid has got to be my most intensive to date. I've been working on it for a while now, bit by bit, and it was depressing when I would get to a good stopping point and realize I wasn't even half way done. D: Let me first apologize about the horrible quality that got uploaded, but i had to compress my vid quite a bit in order to fit it to youtube standards, and secondly I apologize bout the ridiculous length of this description.

With this video, I took a little bit different approach. I don't like to use images I previously used in other videos (unless its a remake) just to keep things fresh and not boring. I think it would be kind of lame if you just saw the same pics over and over again but just different music, but I digress. With the exception of a very few, this video has just about every image of Claire, singularly, I have in my gallery - inlcuding ones previously used in other videos. There's a good chance I'll be using some of those pics in future vids as well. It's mainly centered around Claire and her Mineral Town life, but there's a little surprise for those who keep informed about upcoming HM games. =D

This video is a dedication video to the main protagonist of the girl's version, female farmer, or Claire. But, it's also a tribute to all of you, the farm girl (or guy!) behind the farm girl. This is for all those who toiled away in rain, snow, and blistering heat for the perfect harvest, and for those that bribed the tiny harvest sprites to do the dirty work for them. For every girly girl, flirt, tomboy, nerd, and plain jane (or their male counter parts) that fell for that pixel hunk (or felt secure enough in their masculinity to try this game out)-- for the same girl that suddenly found out there was more than one hot guy to capture-er date, and couldn't choose between them-- for all the hard workers, prefectionist, and fans that have kept this series going strong in an age where graphics = everything-- for all the 20 somethings that whined, cried, and signed online petitions until Natsume finally regionalized the "For Girls" games-- for Claire, and any of her other forms/sisters [Tina, Pony, Chelsea, Sara] for everything she does, and everyone she meets, thank you. Harvest Moon has always, and will always be, a wonderful game.

Now that my speech is over, I noticed something funny in one of the pictures. Rick is holding a puppy and looking at it intently, but he hates dogs. :o

This video was made in adobe premeire pro. The song is "Unwritten" by Natasha Bedingfield. No, I will not send you the all the images, or all the links where I found these images. I do not have enough free time to something so time consuming since there are a lot of them, and I get asked frequently. Besides, it wouldn't be fair if I played favorites and ignored everyone else. :O And I don't want my vids to be spammed - it's just tacky. =/ They aren't hard to find, just google for harvest moon - try using the japanese name for it, and you'll get some result. Afterall, I found these without anyone telling me and so did a few other people, so it's definately possible for everyone else also. ^_^() I'm not trying to sound mean, but I keep getting asked the same questions over and over when I've already answered them.

Anyway, thanks for watching my video. I hope you enjoy it- I worked really hard on this one, and thanks to my subscribers and regular watchers who keep me motivated.

The brunette from AnAWL and DC Cute is "Pony" and the brunette with pigtails from MM is "Tina". The characters are how ever you make them out to be, regardless of their looks, since they are avatars of yourself.

That may be so, but I think the ability to put the two mediums together in a way that tells a story or conveys a message is something like an art. Anyone can make a slideshow with a bunch of pictures joined with random transitions and a song they just happen to like thrown in the background, but with this video it's clear that a lot of thought and effort was put into making everything both meaningful and pleasant to look at. A creator deserves to be praised for a job well done. ^^
