@faterox544 No, Gilgamesh is Not Shirou, the current Archer is shirou, Gilgamesh is the archer from the previous war

The blade that Saber wields is Excalibur. I kind of always figured it would be a longsword, but that's a bit different rendition than what I'd expected.
Nothing wrong with that though. I like the design, and how she wields it. Her fight with Assassin is pretty damn cool.

and since both archers (emiya+gil) aparently knew about the past of saber and shirou it confused me
