1 Timothy 3:1--7 - "This is a true saying, If a man desire the office of a bishop, he desireth a good work. A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach; Not given to wine, no striker, NOT GREEDY OF FILTHY LUCRE; but patient, not a brawler, not covetous; One that ruleth well his own house, having his children in subjection with all gravity; (For if a man know not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of the church of God?) Not a novice, lest being lifted up with pride he fall into the condemnation of the devil. Moreover he must have a good report of them which are without; lest he fall into reproach and the snare of the devil."

  • @aljoeth1 If I follow your advice and do what God's Word says, then I will have no choice but to keep doing that which you are trying to discourage me from doing. I'm not sure what Bible you're reading, but the Word of God commands pastors and teachers like myself to defend the flock against wolves in sheep's clothing like Benny Hinn. Stop listening to Hinn's prosperity gospel perversion and start reading God's Word for yourself instead; then you won't need me to tell you these things.

  • @aljoeth1 Here's what Jesus said: "Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves." Matthew 7:15

    Here's what Paul said:

Titus 1:10-11 - "For there are many unruly and vain talkers and deceivers, specially they of the circumcision: Whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, for filthy lucre's sake."

    You should also read 2 Timothy 4:2-5, 2 Corinthians 11:13-15, 1 John 4:1.

  • leave them alone ,what jesus said, let God deal with them, concentrate to preach the the gospel to the lost. amen

  • @aljoeth1 No. I'm not jealous. I'm infuriated by a charlatan who is perverting God's gospel with false teaching, abusing God's resources and exploiting God's people for his own self-indulgent extravagances. It's sick.

  • are you jealous
