Thanks for the posting. My uncle Jimmy Saunders wrote this with Frank Sinatra. Jimmy "Sonny" Saunders (a.k.a. Vincent LaSpada) also took Frank's place as lead singer in the Harry James Band. He also sang lead for the Charlie Spivak Band heard on "For Sentimental Reasons" PhillyCuzz@Comcast.net

I love it

They also dueted on "Some enchanted evening"...not one of my favorite songs and for some reason, Frank didn't seem fit for it (nothing technically wrong with his singing but he seems almost too subtle)...But it was a noble attempt. Rosemary fit the song better.

I agree...I don't get these pictures. Rosemary Clooney had such a beautiful, velvet voice!

I've known and liked this song, but what's with the pictures? NONE look like Atlanta.. now or in the '50s!! Not even the right continent. Love that line about 'spread a lot of little kernels (colonels) around ...'.

@ApoloExpress It's from 1950. Did you know that this is actually 1 of only 7 songs that Sinatra was co-composer of? He wrote this song with Jimmy Saunders.

Just lovely. In all my years I never heard this one. Thanks, it's really cute and what a pair, two of the best Frank and Rosemary. When I was a kid, I used to lie in bed and listen to the HIt Parade on TV.

@eugenesedita Thanks for the nice comment. It's one of the "hidden" Sinatra gems. I just discovered it recently myself.
