I'm sorry your rescue dog wasn't accepted by Best Friends. I'm not sure what the reason was, but I think everything they are doing helps. Thanks for supporting them in the past and for your commitment to animal rescue.

Yeah they will take in famous peoples fighting animals, but if anyone from the town that supports them brings in an animal they wont take it and help it get a home... they are a bunch of fakes.

@selenafanparasiempre Jango is a lucky to dog to have your as a sponsor.
I've been to the sanctuary and it's amazing. I didn't want to leave, but had to
get back to our own 11 rescue pets.

I sponsor a dog there. His name is Jango. They do such wonderful work there for a wide array of animals. I plan to visit the Sanctuary someday soon.

Thank you it is nice to know people like you are out there helping the animals. Where would Mankind be without the companionship of our beloved animals.
There are plenty of people who help the humans-who cares about the poor animals? You guys obviously do,it makes me feel better knowing that there are so many Animal lover,

I sponsor a dog. Her name is Tabitha. As far as the poster who says "Best Friends Animal Society used to be the Process Church. I have read this and the Society and the animals must not be hurt by malicious gossip. We dont know the true story. It is irrelevant to the animal welfare, and we all know if people dont have something to gossip about they will invent something. In any case this tale is 40 years old. I did things when I was 19, that are irrelevant now at 64.

the fact that the founders of Best Friends were also the founders of The Process Church should make anyone donating think twice. Their gift shop proceeds do not even go to the animals, it goes to the founders. The Process Church in the beginning used to slaughter dogs. Amazing that they can hide behind a charity. When they used to try to get money for the church they told the followers to tell people they were collecting money for animals.
