This is a beautiful piece of film that says the truth about psychedelics.

@pureevilfnord that is only one subdevision (the bobo ashanti) and it was frowned apon by every other denomination. infact the hygene laws you are talking about are jewish laws which they follow. i think it is wrong and immoral. i cant speak for othersbut i can say is the bobo ashanti do not live in close proximity to jamaicans or other rastafarians. that particular "sect" also does odd things like carry brooms to symbolise cleanliness. you are right although it is only one group that does this.

I love the way old films like this look. And sound. I'm writing music inspired by the imagery in this film. I have not taken any sort of psychedelic.

Boards of Canada is full of win. I want to meet Tom and discuss philosophy LOL. I don't advocate drugs, especially anything stronger than pot but one good thing about it was that in the era it was in, it brought hippies (people with open minds and hearts) together. As an ambient prog house producer, I'm thinking of sampling this.

You know what I don't get is people that talk shit about people taking LSD or mushrooms or payote or something psychedelic and they drink and shit. It's the same shit except
Mescaline and payote is fuckin beautieful.
he looks like jesus... i want to look like jesus!!! and i find it halarious that only non christians and hippies look like jesus. maybe christians lost one of their only good things in all the recent years. heaven would be nice, jesus looks badass, other than that, its too corrupt. rastafari is essentially christianity with the belief in Haile Selassie as jah incarnate and with better morals and ethics and the ability to live life knowing that their god made them to be happy, not to worship him!

@hughGwilly You say that, but the Rastafari religion often treats women shamefully with a weird fixation on their menstrual cycle.
