there's really no point getting a gixxer as first bike, not only its dangerous its also costs a lot to maintain, look at the tire's price difference between the gsxr and gs500f for example.

u can go wrong with the suzuki 750 08

Maybe so, but for some reason all the ones I have seen are automatic.

the spyder is definitely different. it couldn't replace the feel of a real bike but when i am at myrtle beach or daytona bike weeks it would be alot of fun to have a spyder to play around on.

that loooks sweet i might go up there one day and look at it. and what bike did they have running in the store?

The bike that was running was in the back, so I have no idea. And I noticed the syders don't last to long in the shop.

that thing is coool really cool but i'm not sure about having an automatic gearbox and one brake pedal cuz i think being able to control various components of the bike myself is an important part of the fun that bikes offer.

bmastamoneycash has made a comment on Can-Am Spyder and GSXR notes:
I guess it would be more like an ATV and a snowmobile rather than a bike. A bike you have to lean and counter steer where that guy you would just have to move the handlebars and maybe shift your weight a bit. I don't think this would too similar to a motorcycle but I do think it would be a lot of fun, and at least in NY you'd be the only guy to have one! lol
