This is me playing through the first stage in 'Star Fox 64 3D' on my 3DS. It is a remake to one of my all time favourite games so I thought it would be an appropriate way to end 2011.

I just want to clarify that this isn't gonna be the best run through of this level you'll ever see. I am not the best person in the world at this game and I was looking through the camera lens throughout so the 3DS didn't go out of the frame. As a result I wasn't focusing 100% on the game (although during this playthrough I did manage to get a medal). This video was made just for fun and maybe I showed you one or two entertaining things throughout the level.

If you want more then please let me know and if I were to ever review a 3DS game then i'm afraid that this would be the quality of the image (unless Nintendo were to send me the official 3DS capture software that major gaming publications use).

Enjoy!

Star Fox 64 3D was made and licensed by Nintendo

  • I appreciate your reviews because of the well thought out content and how polished they are. Therefore, I beg you, don't make another video like this. People who usually make low-quality videos like this usually just hope they can become a YouTube and have tons of fans. I know you aren't one of those people. I can recommend good TV Capture Software if you need it. Don't embarrass yourself with videos like this

With the Utmost Respect, Isaakianplayers (Curse you comment character limit. I'm n..)

  • @isaakianplayers Hey mate. I understand that the quality isn't that great (this is the first time i've attempted to capture game footage from a handheld) but this was just a simple playthrough for fun. If I were to do a review of the game then i'd definitely try harder or find other ways to get the footage. But as of right now, unless you're a major gaming publication, there is no way to get ahold of a 3DS capture card =/

  • @TrilbeeGaming I know that there is no 3DS Capture Card. I was just saying TV Capture Device.

  • @isaakianplayers Well send me a private message about this TV Capture Card you recommend =)

  • the english voice acting sounds way better than the german one.

btw. how did you get over 150 hits on this stage?

my personal record is about 110 (on the N64)

  • @Gallia91 The english N64 version of the game had better voice acting then the 3DS one though (with the exception of Peppy). As for getting over 150: the key is to use your charged laser on multiple targets because if you hit more than one enemy with a charged laser then you get double the points.

  • The gold medal on Corneria's Score Attack mode drove me insane! After like 20 tries I finally got 190 hits even.

  • can you use first person view in this?as well can you use the land master and on foot in multiplayer

  • @GrenadierPro I hate the comment limit as well it seems. Anyway, when what I was talking about comes, I wont accept this quality of video either, but until then, we are stuck with it.

  • @isaakianplayers ben, although I understand what you are trying to say, as your friend there is one thing i feel that I must correct you on. As it stands, this is the only way that a person can record 3ds footage at this time. Sure, he could of made it look somewhat better, but that fact is no tv capture software will create a higher quality video, as the 3ds cannot output to a tv. When a decent 3ds emulator, and a way to rip roms of of the 3ds cards themselves comes, I wont accept this either,

  • Hey I have some news that you may be interested in. A Doctor Who video game is being developed by SuperMassive games. It's called the Eternity Clock and will star The Doctor and River Song(both voiced by Matt Smith and Alex Kingston respectivley). It will come out in 2012 and be a downloadable game for the ps3, PC and PSVita. A teaser trailer has been released.
