  • Ideas are retained in the memory, the memory uses concepts (mental constructs) to build ideas, if there are no words (semantics) to describe impressions then there is no way to define or recall those impressions or expound on them and make them identifiable. Consciousness is a phenomenon created by the memory and it's ability to create mental constructs through linguistic tools. Shakespeare's induction of 20.000 new words in the English language was elementary to the 'Renaissance'
