Shut Up and Love Me - Jemi Story - Ch. 19

"You really want to know it, don't you?" I asked.
"Well, duh, or else I wouldn't be asking, now would I?" Ashley said with an attitude.
"The plan is to get Nick a girlfriend tonight, satisfied with your answer?" I answered her.
"And what has David to do with it?" she said skeptical.
"David is going to help, he knows some girls around here and so does Zac. Done with your interrogation?" Ashley turned around and walked away to Joe, who just came down.
"Joey, do you know that this girl over there is planning to get your little brother hooked up tonight?"
"Didn't you listen to Demi or are you deaf?" Nick said to Ashley.
"Is that true?" Joe laughed.
"No, it's not. Your girlfriend needs to listen better. Demi said she and David are going to get me a girlfriend tonight. At least they are going to try, or whatever their plan is," Nick said to Joe. I walked out on the deck to call David, but just when I found his number Joe appeared next to me.
"I know we're cool again, but I still don't approve of you and David," he said to me.
"I know, and I still don't like Ashley, so we're even," I answered.
"Yeah, I know," Joe sighed and looked at the sky. He looked pretty sad.
"Why so down?" I asked him.
"Don't know. Things just changed, that's all. I just have to live with it," he answered, looking down at me.
"You know, some things that changed, you can change back. You don't have to live with it if you don't want to. Just change it back if that's possible," I said to him. I patted his hand and walked back inside. I still hadn't called David about the plan. I just wanted to turn the TV on when David, Sterling, Zac and Trace walked in. David walked right up to me and gave me a tight hug.
"Hey beautiful," he said and kissed my cheek.
"I need to talk to you," I mumbled in his ear and let go of him. I greeted the others and we went out to go shopping. The whole way to the mall I couldn't talk to David about the plan. But I did notice Joe looking at me with a hint of pain in his eyes when David had his arm around me.
Once we got at the mall we decided to go to Urban Outfitters. I quickly found a T-shirt and dragged David to the fitting rooms.
"Wow, what's the rush?" he asked.
"I told you I need to talk to you," I said.
"Yeah, spit," David said and sat down on a chair in front of a fitting room.
"Yesterday Joe got really mad at me, he was furious, because we're dating," I said. I let out the part where Joe slapped me, I didn't want David to get mad. "And when he thought I was sleeping, he came in my room and apologized several times and he held me. And he said he loves me."
"Wow, that's heavy," David said.
"I'm not done yet! And this morning he apologized again and he said he loves me, again! What are we going to do now?" I asked.

Heey... i'm sure you feel better tomorrow... everyone had a bad day ones in a while.... great episode even tought i thing i would have wanted to know the reaction of David about Joe slapping demi...
