Here is a easy conversion of the Axis model A longboard to the new 21 pedal and Derek Roddy signature pedal with one part. Please note that it is always good to clean the metal parts of dried/hardened oils when they apart before reassembly. It is also good to lubricate the bearings with a durable lubricant like white lithium grease or other types of bearing grease not shown.

  • Hey I know this didn't have much to do with the vid but what beaters are you using? I have been looking for a set like that for years!

  • @jamy313 Those were the Danmar felt beaters. I have since switched to the Axis marksman beaters some time ago. They give a better punch and have a little more weight then the Danmars did.

  • Call Karen at Axis and she will sell you what you need.

  • @supersaiayin666 Straight from Axis.

  • i want to try the 21 but it seems like a useless gimmic bc they compesate for making the beater too close to the head by making the lever longer that the spring attaches to so now whats the diff? maybe poss more torque from the lever being longer but i havent seen anybody point out thats the purpose.

  • hey, cool video..... I am just wondering how did you get the new 21angle parts? are they selling them separately?

  • how much did you get your axis longboards for??

  • Please can you link me to this product? I cant find it on the Axis website.

  • i love how we all know who karen is because we've all had to call axis due to needing a replacement part ;)

  • Karen is a killer chick and her husband is super nice as well!

  • So... this is for what? more power out of the stroke, i like my axis how they are full tension bout 65 degree angle havent tried toe risers yet.

I wanna try these pedals see if they are better than the previous axis :D
