Istanbul fireworks to celebrate the 86th anniversary of the Turkish Republic - 29 0ctober 2009

Last nine minutes of a spectacular fireworks display over the Bosphorus to celebrate the 86th anniversary of the Turkish Republic. Taken with a compact digital camera, so resolution is a bit on the murky side and jittery at times... Still, well worth watching as it is truly amazing! Fireworks shot into the Istanbul sky from over half a dozen locations in and along the straits of Bosphorus that straddles Europe and Asia. Taken from a panoramic vantage point at the Dolmabahçe Palace on the European side of the Bosphorus. The most awesome fireworks display I ever saw! Just had to share it with the world.
