@DaRkLeOnN01 The first thing you need performancewise is an intake you will love the sound of the engine once the mivec kicks in. Then exhaust (i went with a custom 3") and headers (Ripp, OBX or RRE) and for a tune an AEM Fi/c

@mrdiaz0108 GS with a turbo might. Turbo for a GS can bring it upto 240HP i believe. Get a nice exhaust and headers to go with it, maybe eibach lowering springs and you have yourself a 260 - 270HP 4 cylinder. But i dont think it would beat the Stock V6 because its naturally aspirated. I saw some guy with a 530HP supercharged V6 according to him. Had the stage 3 supercharged mod.

@pickmelter38 Its weird that you say that because the same Eclipse GT can go through the corners faster and is more aero dynamic. Slalom speed for the eclipse is about 6MPH faster as well which means it handles its weight better. Let's face it, the Rx8 is just a touring car. At best.

@cgeclipsepr Mivec kicks in? Do you want me to punch you in the face kid? Mivec is just a fuel efficient emission regulating computer working to save you gas dude. Dont be a civic copy cat and claim your car goes fast because of vtec or some shyt. You car is fast because its a V6 with 260HP and matching torque at stock. Mivec has NOTHING to do with that power. And the car throws it down at 4500RPMS. ITs a fast car because of the 3.8L V6 and can reach 575HP. Enough said

i have an 08 automatic eclipse gt, any recommendations for it?

Rx8 weren't made for neck and neck racing, they were made to take a corner at 60mph+. They have no mid-range punch like most sports cars do, and they will almost always lose from a stop light race manual or not. This is because of the Renesis rotary engine, can't find a sufficient way of harnessing monster tq or midrange power due to the rotary engine's shape and design, but they can shift redlines all day due to the rotary engine's design, which enables the Rx8 to achieve their own power band.

How much did you pay for your intake, headers and exhaust? And do you have a chip, if so what kind?

Please lmk. Been racing minds stock and have won alot b series hatches n boosted, n very close with STI/Evo. Beat speed3 n other v6. Want to have atleast 350hp and maintain fuel.
