may be he was a monk in tibet before the exodus in 1959 but in exile he was a soldier who twice fought the pakistani invasion of bangladesh in the 70's on behalf of india. you are a hero whose sacrifice gives courage to many others to follow you with even more sacrifices of all kinds. thank you.

Nobody listen to him, nobody cared for him he only had to say TIBET BELONGS TO TIBETAN... he thought actions speaks louder than words, he acted upon, burn himself to death...people cry, people prayed, media founds its hot report...........now he is lost in the pages of history, ppl are back to their business and media is again in search of a report, a headline death, murder, rape anything of violence nature but peace never.......! pawo you will never die in me...bho gyalo.

I was asked to leave the Canada Tibet Committee because I had made the innocent suggestion that I could join the hunger strikers in solidarity. I simply believed that the Western media would continue to ignore such actions as the TYC Hunger Strike until Westerners began to participate in solidarity. For this I was branded a radical. Blessed Thupten Ngodup - it was in 2004when i first saw the video of your sacrifice. I paused the video & saw the face of a happy baby spirit above your head as you were aflame - i cried endless tears...may you be in eternal enlightened bliss in the land of Dewachen. - your sacrifice will not be wasted! my tears fall endlessly for the suffering the Tibetans have endured at the hands of the Chinese Government. The Human form can be filled with Divine Love or Destructive Beast behavior - The Chinese Gov't is enslaved with the Beast and we must work to FREE the Chinese.
