come on guys anyone can see that his wife pressured the move to galaxy as she seeked stardom in LA, beckham had said for many years thew only clubs he wanted to play for were united and madrid, obviously a mve back to united wasnt on the cards he had some good years at madrid and only won something late on he saw the chance to finish on a high, he obviously overlooked the chances of him not bein picked for england or maybe he thought his international carreer was over.

Nah, he has more money than he knows what to do with. Why go to LA just for money when you are already loaded beyond your wildest dreams? When most of your income doesn't come from football? He went to LA for the glamour, for razmatazz, for the lifestyle and probably because his wife fancied it - not for money.
