Funny, when I went to the NEAQ recently, there were several people *holding their kids over the giant tank* so they could see the sharks and giant rays better. I had the damndest time holding my tongue...
OK, I just went to the NEAQ this weekend and I can't for the life of me figure how the old interior layout of the main building meshes with the modern one. Specifically: the shark appears to be swimming in the big pool that makes up the entire first floor (which now holds penguins only). Considering that most of the walkways are essentially bridges over this pool, there's NO EFFIN' WAY they had sharks in it... is there?
