Wisecrack Wonders is a new fundraising appeal happening in July this year... and its all about being funny. Business and the general community are being encouraged to be a Wisecrack Wonder and do something funny for money to work wonders for sick kids. A radio appeal will be held in the last week of July on Brisbanes 4BC radio station and is hosted by Jamie Dunn and his cartoon friend Agro. http://www.4bc.com.au/
The Royal Childrens Hospital Foundation raises funds to support sick kids and their families at the Royal Childrens Hospital. Funds raised are invested in many research areas including cancer, infectious diseases like meningococcal disease, burns, respiratory conditions like cystic fibrosis, cerebral palsy and nutrition. We also fund a volunteer program where volunteers take the time to escort families around the hospital and play with young patients on the ward and in the Wonder Factory. The Wonder Factory is an amazing entertainment room where patients and their siblings can spend time away from the hospital routine and have some fun. The Wonder Factory is funded entirely by the Foundation.
