@mroom21 Dude no way!!! O.o That's Crazy!!! The room is like Heaven on earth man, I can't believe you are moving plus leaving the beautiful room behind I hope the new owner is a musician thou... But wow i can't believe it i would do anything for a soundproof room especially the room! but i hope everything goes well for you! :)

It cost around $1500 (I already had the heavy doors and a couple of pieces of plate glass for the window). It took around 3 months, as an evening and weekend project. The ceiling is probably the most important part, especially since the room is directly underneath the kitchen.

Nothing special. wood, sheetrock, insulation, wire, glue, caulk, some hardware, some foam, carpet, windows, doors, walnuts, peanuts, cashews, pecans...

Now I'm going to be moving and leaving this music room behind. I don't think the new owner of the house is a musician, so it should be interesting to see what he's going to use the room for!
