David Steinmetz at CPAK 2008

There is a great need today for a universal model of humanitys development that reaches back to mythological times, puts recorded history in a meaningful perspective, provides a context for understanding current events and shows the direction of our future. The understanding held by the ancients of many cultures that global consciousness rises and falls in a cycle linked to the precession of the equinoxes fills that need. David Steinmetz will describe this cycle of ages called the Yugas, and show how the concept provides a unifying framework for much that appears inconsistent or anomalous in the conventional model. David will also introduce the Ananda Institute of Alternative Living which offers higher education based on a worldview incorporating universal yoga principles and the Yugas.
