@sleanos Exactly.

To me this is so very strange, how the Christian world is so divided on this issue. What this video says makes perfect sense to me! And yet, so many don't see it the same way. Again, this is something I just don't understand. The Lord said to keep the commandments if we love Him! Let's just do that! Why keep trying to change them? Keeping the sabbath is a tremendous blessing. It honors our God, identifying Him as our creator. The seventh day aspect is what does that. What's so hard about this?

@belojo2003 If this is so, why did the deciples continue to keep the weekly sabbath. Its listed as being kept 84 times in the book of acts alone.

@belojo2003 The Sabbath was never given to just the Jews..it was RE given to all of Israel. Only 3 of all the tribes were "Jews" . They were to be a nation of priests. The Sabbath was made for man not the other way around. The Sabbath was also made into a seperate everlasting covenant three weeks after the 10 commandment covenant was agreed to. The deciples kept it as well. In the book of acts there are 84 individual refrences to the deciples keeping and teaching others to keep it.

@belojo2003 You've said a lot and I feel don't understand my position. The law never justified anyone. It only condemns because it shows us our sins. It is God's perfect standard of morality. When we recognize this, then we see how filthy we really are and why we need the Savior who forgives and justifies us. THEN we want to live a sanctified life of obedience to Him, which includes the 10 commandments (including the 4rth Sabbath command).

@sleanos . Col2:16 is also about weekly sabbath. God call us now to a spiritual sabbath through Jesus for our soul "Mat.11:28" while we are waiting the eternal Sabbath "A place of rest" Heb. 4:9,10& Rev:14:13. The 7day sabbath is a physical sabbath which is a shadow of the true sabbath of our soul. Don't miss the point. We are not justify by Law Rom 3: 20

@belojo2003 IF the 7th day Sabbath of the 10 commandments was nailed to the cross then that means so are the other 9 precepts. Does that we mean we should not Honor Father and Mother now or take God's name in vain? Think about what you're saying. The annual Sabbaths tied to meat and drink offerings written in the book of the law by the hand of Moses is what is nailed to the cross. The Lord still has a day He calls His own and scripture makes it clear Jesus is Lord of the Sabbath day.
I have respect about your beleive because we have a common point "Jesus the savior". But, We need to know that the message of Sabbath given is all about "A Place Of Rest (Heb. 4:9)" As in the OT, God required animals for expiation of sins, wich was a shadow that represented Jesus the Lamb of God would be sacrificed for our sins. So, Sabbath was given to remind Jews that they were slaves and did not have rest, and God wanted to give them rest (Read Deuteronomy 5:15).

@belojo2003 I'm sorry but I respectfully disagree. Yes the annual sabbaths were a shadow pointing to Christ, but the weekly sabbath of the 10 commandments symbolizes true rest in the Creator (that we should learn daily). Jesus taught a lot about obeying the letter of the law through the Spirit. If u lust after a woman you commit adultery in the heart. Keep the letter of the law yes,but through the indwelling Holy Spirit to watch our thoughts and carnal hearts.

@belojo2003 The 7th day Sabbath rest was created in creation week before man's fall therefore it is not a type/shadow. Isaiah says we will keep the Sabbath in the new earth and new heaven. The weekly Sabbath was kept by Israel before it was given on Sinai. It was kept throughout the old testament and Jesus Himself kept it along with the disciple. Therefore we are to keep it as well. Don't mix the 4rth commandment of God with the temporary statues/judgments, etc.
