I cannot stress the importance of filming all police interactions. It is perfectly legal in Arizona as long as you do not interfere with the arrest. The ACLU has excellent info on legal observing and Phoenix Cop-Watch has been training legal observers for years. I'll add contact info with links later.

  • This was the best Occupy Phoenix video yet! Good Job,

    Peace

  • @FacelessPlanet Thanks. It's always a challenge filming in the dark. I had just enough light to get by.

  • @MexicaIsBrownRacism5 She wasn't resisting anything. She was chocked by a cop who enjoys chocking women. Facts are facts. Deal with it.

  • @Humanleague002 Yes Dennis chocking out the girl is against the law, but was she resisting arrest. You have to remember just b/c you want to have a protest and exercise your 1st Amend. right doesnt mean you break the law doing so.

  • Disturbing...

  • @918youare Do you support the cop who chocked that girl? Was that what you think cops should do to peaceful teenagers? Seriuosly. Answer the question.

  • @918youare You continue to claim this is grossly edited yet fail to point out one thing that is untrue about it. Thats because you can't. The video is 100% accurate. The video shows most arrests as peaceful and cops using minimul force. I showed as many as I filmed. But there were unexcuseable police brutality like the girl being chocked for no reason and you seem to wish I edited that out? Do you defend that behavior by a cop? Isn't police brutality against the law?

  • @Humanleague002 If you wish to break the law...that's completely on you. I don't support breaking the law and then blaming the police officers here for enforcing it.

You can keep calling me a cop or a troll, but I'm not the one instigating conflict. This video is a gross misrepresentation of what happened and that needs to be said.

It's amazing how people who supposedly support peace and are against oppression are so quick to oppress others with slightly different viewpoints.

  • Rosa Parks broke the law and so did those that sat at the counter at woolworths. Unjust laws must be broken.

  • They had a permit to be in that park. Its called the 1st amendment.
