@karldude12 Great vid dude, thanks. I've always wanted to see whether it's possible to play at frame rates that low, and how Crysis would run at high at that resolution on that GPU. Do you know how many frames per second you were getting when you were playing at that big resolution? At 1:20? Since your FPS counter was completely blocked off at that time, lol.

@karldude12 Is it actually possible to play at a frame rate that low? I know it will feel very laggy and all, but do the keyboard and mouse still respond straight away at that frame rate?

could this graphics card play star wars the old republic
-
@tazss159 Yes, they do respond. But put it this way, you see a guy, and you go to shoot him, and by the time your croshair is on the guy he would have already shot you, becasue when you see him and you move your mouse, your croshair will take a while to catch up. Plus it is difficult to see and move as your sort of jumping and skipping all over the place, so its just hard to control. Just trust me.

@karldude12 I'm not looking to buy a card, I own a GTX 580. But I'm just curious, since if there was a game that looked so realistic that it took a GTX 580 down to 5-6 FPS, is it actually possible to play at that frame rate? And why would it be "Extremely Difficult"? Since your keyboard and mouse would still be responding wouldn't they?
-
@tazss159 Yes. Extremely Difficult but Yes.
It seems as though you actually want to play at these frame rates? If your looking to buy a card that would give you those frame rates DONT BUY IT. not only the chance of you getting a kill would be close to 0% but you will CRY with frustration if you had to play like that.
Just giving you a heads up.

@karldude12 But you can still gets kills at stuff at 6 FPS, right?
-
@tazss159 umm. i guess you could say that
-
@karldude12 So bascially the keyboard and mouse respond immediately in the next frame, correct?
-
@tazss159 Well yes, but only a little. they do respond but say if i moved the mouse it might take a second for the croshair of cursor to catch up. but they do still work
well the avg watchdog can be caused by couple of things. The graphics card software driver u installed, automatically install AVG (for advertising) this however is unlikely. OR u installed some other software that auto installed AVG. Either way, its not realated to the Graphics card itself. But i think u can get rid of it by, Typing msconfig into the run dialog box. then startup tab, then uncheck where u see AVG watchdog in the list. i have limited words so sorry for brief instructions. cya
