Hello! MangoPowuh at yo' service!

In this video, I present myself as Ex-Cadet Petty Officer Second Class Mendoza. An Ex-Cadet from Robert Service Highschool Cougar Company, Area 13.
My reasons for quitting is my own. It's on a personal level.

Although, if life for had been different, I would have gladly stayed in for all four years during my career in highschool.

VOCAB TERMS
"Shroudy" - adj. Meaning to have a not-so-clear display or to have a fog-like appearance.

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Polish the shoe as you have been taught.
- Swipe cloth with polish.
- Polish shoe with little circles in a small area
- Make sure the cloth is dampened with water, too
- Repeat till reaches a glossy shine or is well and done properly

HAIR DRYER TECHNIQUE
- First, have damp cloth at the ready. Make sure you use the spot you have used the polish on.
- Set Hair dryer on area you are going to polish. You may move the hair dryer around just as long as it does not extend pass 6 seconds max.
- After Hair drying, immediately polish with the cloth with a wide-circle range movement. Spread the polish around! Think of it as "equaling" the tone of the shoe.

- Repeat the Basic Polish technique (Second and further times around, use wider circle movements.)
- Repeat Hair Drying technique
-Keep repeating until...
~~ Oh!You always want to end with the Hair Drying technique, till it reaches "Chloroframe Perfection"`~~~! ^__^

The purpose of this video is to share a technique I have found out on my own. Also, due to unavailabiility at school to teach this, or perhaps selfishness of those who would rather keep their secrets only to themselves. I strive to be a person of... "high excellence." I want to help all those around me, extend my hand to all those in need of help, even when they say they have no need for it. When infact, they will. Which of course, is one of my aspirations in life, is to extend my hands to the whole world. Impossible? Nah. Not for this kid.

I dedicate this video to Service Cougar Company and to all JROTCs in the world. It was my dream to become someone of high status in my Company. I usually daydreamed about what it would be like to be the CO. Well... the dream never gave me a hint of reality, so I thought of it as something that isn't my "life's calling". Even as an Ex-Cadet that supposedly "quitted," everyone in the company says to me, I still support the program that gave me the discipline, determination, and the willpower to overcome even the hardest of life's obstacles. The program has also blessed me with friends I WILL NEVER forget, which also led to the song choice, "Lonely Soul." The song starts off with a "dark, crazed,"-feel, but, later on, has a "happy and joyous" feel. That is how I felt when I started my highschool career having JROTC as my first hour class. As months passed, a year passed, I felt the meaning of JROTC kicking into me.

I would love to hear your feedback and comments! Also if there are mistakes I have made, please point them out!

and should i do (im in njrotc {navy rotc})

should i kiwie water(maybe spit shine) then repeat then dryer

and can htey damage the shoe if i dont do it right

  • @Kenny112041

Damage the shoe? Not at all.

And yes, apply Kiwi to cloth, dab it in water, and apply it to shoe with circular motions.

Get dryer, and heat it up for a few secs, and re-polish. Sorry, it's been a long time ago since I've done this and I don't really remember all that well, anymore...

  • I used this tecnique and I got awarded for Cadet of the week. My boots are soo shiny and they are almost to the very high standerds and my uniform was almost perfectly iorned. I've only been in Air Cadets for 3 mounths and the warrent officer said this Cadet is fairly new to the squadron. I was very shocked when I was awarded Cadet of the week. Thank you so very much for posting this video. If it wasn't for your tecnique I wouldn't of got the white belt for Cadet of the week. Thank you :) :D

  • That's great news! Congrats! Glad to be of help, my friend! =]

  • Well this helped me I'm going to try it. Well I got a question I started Air Cadets in october and I got my boots in December so my boots don't have very many creases in them. Do you need alot of polish build up when you put the hair dryer near your boots??

  • Too much polish would mess things up a bit. You can tell if there's too much polish because the cloth will pick it up when there's excess polish on the shoe or boot.

Once the excess polish is taken off(simply by doing the steps shown in vid and Info to the right), make sure you use a different spot of the cloth when you re-hair dry it. Always bear in mind that you're "Equalizing" the polish to get a balance and good shine all over the shoe.

Hope that answers your question! =]
