How much does it cost to start? I really like to fly, but never though of this as an alternative to flying planes... + its more relaxing... no engine! :D I'm only 16 though, lol so I just want a rough estimated guess, since I hoe to one day start...

@boobie284 Hello, for the beginning all the gear, glider, harness, rescue chute comes at around 2000€ cheapest. So comparing to other sports it is relatively cheap ;)

Do you know approximately how long you were up in the air for this flight? In hours, minutes, etc. What is your average/max forward speed/velocity typically?

@justatubeyou HEllo, this flight was about 2 hours, hang gliders go from 30 km/h to 140 km/h

@justatubeyou Thanks :) This tops are about 2000m high, but we can go much higher up to 6000m in special areas in the world where thermal air rises so high.
