Tskhinvali was shelled by the Georgian forces before anybody was evacuated. Then Russians responded.

In any case it's tragic: Georgians, Ossetians and Russians were brothers for centuries until recently.

Politically, if you pretend to be unbiased for a minute then what's the difference between the Russian operation and the NATO operation in Yugoslavia 10 years ago? Or the US invasion of Iraq? Again, Russia responded to a real attack, not some ilusive threat of WMD or something like that.

lol communisim is over, and I am American but the American government is curropted by abusive power. Many poor Ossetains were killed. Russia couldnt just stand there unlike the rest of the world and they stood up. This is almost the same thing what Americans did in the middle east. The only problem is that the Russian troops did there job and left, sadly the American troops are still there looking like heros even though they arnt doing much.
