The Solomon Treasures tells the story of the fascinating investigations into the lucrative trade of fake artefacts that have stained biblical history and the discipline of archaeology.

In the last few years biblical history has been turned upside down by a series of scandals. Investigators reveal that some of the most revered objects in Israel, and around the world, are in fact sophisticated fakes. The police suspect it may be the world's biggest ever antiquity fraud.

In 2001 a tablet which appeared to come from the Temple of Solomon was offered for sale to the Israel Museum. Scholars and scientists declared it genuine, but an official investigation revealed that the tablet was an elaborate fake. Authorities discovered that a highly-skilled gang had been producing high quality, fake biblical artefacts for more than 20 years and many museum collections around the world may now be in doubt.

The artefacts at the centre of these enquiries are of enormous significance. They are the only archaeological evidence for the biblical story of David, his son Solomon, and the other early kings, and the empire over which they ruled. There are no known archaeological sites, just a few priceless seals, tablets, and lamps, which date from the right period and carry inscriptions that match the Bible stories. The authenticity of these artefacts is now in question.

Solomons Mines- to the stupid appear to be riches god gave a wise man? Ridiculous. Solomon did not even live in Israel. Solomon was another Hyksos King of the Nile Delta region and his riches were gained by robbing more Ancient Egyptian Pharaohs tombs. All Jews were Hyksos invaders, barbarians. Egypt united to drive these devils out. Judaism is a racist lie. Moses did not write Genesis. All mysteries were Egyptian and much older than these warmongering buffoons.

You know very well we're not talking about 'a Muslim', we're talking about Muhammad, the man who founded the faith and who's character is universally revered by Muslims as flawless. 1)i read the templars raided the tempel of prophet solomon during the crusades,so thats why no treasure probably.ask rothschild familie,they have it i guess.2)btw saying a muslim had sex with a 9 year old,is just a weak attack on the religion.as i heard : the quran and the religion are perfect,but the humans who believe aren't .so that means ,since the hadiths aren't texts from the quran and so not words of allah himself,stop those weak arguments.

@Daveyboyroy i prefer not to argue. You sound so sure as if you have a time machine and you travelled back and saw all the truth plus a universal licence to judge everyone lol. And that's just amusing that all you talk about is sex whereas marriage is something more than that. Can't blame you because that's what your culture teaches you. If you find a 9 year old who is mature, capable and willing to marry you, go marry her and get over the f word lol.. that's just low thinking :)
