I push open the door and storm into my room. "You are an idiot!" I scream sitting on my bed.

"But you love me anyways!" He smiles leaning against the door frame. I feel the corners of my mouth turn up but I fight the smile.

"AHAHA me like YOU!? Yeah I'm positive now that this family is full of donut brains." I smirk. "There is no possible way I could EVER like you Nick."

He chuckles and places his hand over his heart. "Ouch Selena, that hurts, that really hurts." I roll my eyes.

"Get out." I point to the door. He rolls his eyes back and walks out. I stand up and lean against the door, watching him as he jogs over the hill to the house. I feel myself starting to smile again. I see him start to turn and quickly shut the door. I slide down it breathing deeply. I pull my hair up out of my face and sigh. I pull my legs up to my chest and look around the room.

I frown and bang my head on the door. I stand up and walk out AGAIN to the house.

"Hey Dad, can I go for a walk around town?" I say grabbing my shoes and slipping them on. He looks at me from behind his newspaper.

"You want Nick to go with you, to show you around town?" He asks kindly. Nick walks in and winks at me. I bite my lip to avoid smiling.

"I know the town I've been here before." I say coldly. I open the door and storm out, slamming it behind me. I take a deep breath has the door slams shut and look around before running off into the town.

I slow my jog into a walk when I pass the sign welcoming me into the town. I smile as I pass by familiar faces from my last visit during the winter time.

"Selena!" Says a voice from behind me.

I turn to find the only girl who understood me during my MISERABLE visit.

"Demi!" I smile running towards my old friend. She smiles and throws her arms around me. I laugh and hug her back.

"I'm so glad it's you! It would've been weird if I had said that to some random girl!" She laughs pulling away.

"Ah Demi I missed you so much." I smile. She smiles and looks at me.

"So what brings you back to this small old boring town?" She snorts walking towards this fruit seller.

"Oh you know. I'm here visiting my dad." I sigh following her and picking up an apple. I flip it around in my hand and toss a quarter at the seller who gratefully takes it and puts it in their coin pouch.

"Oh so your stuck with Angela and Kevin, Nick, and Joe again." She says giving me a look of sympathy.

"Oh is that the third one's name?" I say taking a bite of the apple. "I only had the pleasure of meeting Nick and Joe." I laugh. She laughs and observes the other fruit.

"So are they AS annoying as they were in the winter time?"

"They don't go to school with you?" I ask confused.

"Oh no. As soon as you told me about them I wanted OUT of that school." She laughs. "Now I'm homeschooled."

"Oh." I say. I bite my lip thinking about Nick. "Well I guess Joe's pretty annoying..." I say taking another bite of the apple. Demi looks at me from over her sunglasses.

"And Nick?" I chew my apple slowly trying to think of answering.

"Well...Nick's...He's um..." I bite my lip. I start to day dream about his deep chocolate brown eyes and his crooked smile. I smile dreamily.

"Selena. Selena?" Demi snaps her fingers in my face. I snap out of my trance.

"What?" I ask shyly. She raises an eyebrow.

"Does my Selena have a CRUSH on the oh so irritable Nick Jonas?" She smiles at me. I feel my cheeks turn a bright shade of red.

"What? No that's...ridiculous!" I bite my lip. She smiles wider.

"Oh my gosh SELENA! You totally have to come over and tell me EVERYTHING!" She squeals. "How long are you here?" I laugh.

"All summer Demz." She squeals again.

"That's it! You ARE coming over for a sleepover. Here you'll need my phone number." She digs in her bag and pulls out a piece of paper. She scribbles her phone number on it and hands it to me.

"Okay so I'll call you when I'm free?" I say slipping the card into my jeans pocket.

"Totally. And make it soon!" She laughs. We say goodbye and I head back to the house.
