This is the real-life, heart-stirring story of country sensations Naomi and Wynonna Judd. Every song tells a story, yet few are as incredible as the rise to stardom by The Judds, who followed their dream of Country Music stardom, only to have their lives hit bottom again. A struggling single mother, Naomi Judd (Kathleen York) is determined to make a better life for her children, but she is not sure how. The opportunity, though, is close to home, as her oldest daughter Wynonna (Viveka Davis) proves she has the potential to be a huge musical talent. Joining together to perform, the unique mother-daughter duo face numerous obstacles as htey enter the powerful music industry and work their way to the top, becoming revered international music superstars and winning 6 Grammy Awards. But success is not insurance against tragedy, and when Naomi is hit with a life-threatening disease the Judds must face their biggest challenge yet.
