  • I always wondered. How do you get the lower pitch sound? I've seen six + pound whistles that don't sound anywhere near yours.

    Couple things I have found that effect the pitch, the type of fuel, and the size of the core. The smaller the core the louder, and the weaker the fuel the deeper the pitch. Also sodium benze gives a nice raspy whistle compared to most other whistle fuels.

    It's the same as any other whistle formula but instead of using red iron oxide you can substitute copper oxychloride.

  • I didn't, at least not that I'm aware of. I think there might be something goofy going on at YouTube right now, my videos are getting cropped too.
