what the hell is that staging ? and those costumes ??

Carlos, tenias que cantarnos ésto mañana en Oviedo, pero como no pudo ser me quedo con el vídeo y un poco triste otra vez será.

Singing 5*
Costumes 2* (save from Albiani's mafioso outfit, they are just ugly and random)
Staging: 1* (standing there and doing nothing. I prefer this with normal costumes. At least some creativity to justify the modern-ness would be good.)

You need to read more carefully before you post, ezayi. What I wrote, and Boyajian said, is that the QUALITY of the two voices should be similar, not that the voices are the same which, as any fool knows, they aren't and never could be. Many years of professional experience lead me to that conclusion, with or without Boyajian. In the end whether or not you like Carlos Alvarez here is a question of taste, not dogma.

and just becasue he said that to you, you just take it s an absolute true. Oh please!

No... jamás en la vida Alvarez tiene un voz más oscura. Furlanetto es bajo y suena como bajo. A mi no me suena nada mal y si asi fuera, recuerda que está en sus sesentas. Ya no es un nene.

People are always saying it's a small voice. I don't understand that. It's a huge sound with impeccable diction. Alvarez is a vocal and interpretive gift in very sparse times.
Carlos Alvarez es un gran cantante.
