Should State Fish and Wildlife pay for Deer Vehicle Accident Victims? WE SAY YES!

Hunters says no but seeing that Wildlife Agencies (Game and Fisheries) destroys land, manipulate deer habitats, grow fawns like "crops" to create large deer herds we definitely say YES.

I am sure the public out there would say the same after learning about DNR "producing" large deer herds. Texas hunters were not too happy about the decision the states want to make on having Fish and Game to pay $250 to DVA's victims. This is what they wrote..

"Imagine if the Texas Legislature mandated Texas Parks and Wildlife Department write a $250 check to every person whose motor vehicle collides with a deer on a Texas public road."



They are upset over 250 dollars!!?? This is the kind of coverage victims gets from DVA's!

"The only coverage a motorist may have for a deer versus auto accident is the comprehensive coverage and medical payments coverage through his or her motor vehicle insurance policy. The comprehensive coverage will cover damage to the automobile minus the deductible. The medical payments coverage will reimburse covered medical expenses incurred as a result of the collision, up to the limits of the coverage. There is no other coverage generally applicable in an auto insurance policy to cover lost income, permanent disability, disfigurement, pain and suffering due to an auto versus deer accident."

I believe that uses hunting as a tool for 'deer management" should pay for each deer vehicle accident victims not just the measely 250 dollars especially the amount of money that hunter claim that they bring in I think they should pay for the pain and suffering, disabilities, funeral cost, medical, car repair, loss of job, etc etc. Hunters rather use the money to continue burning vegetation, pay for deer biologist on finding ways to create tons big buck deer for trophy hunting, planting food plots, clear cutting forest, killing deer natural predators..my god thats alot of time, alot of manpower and very costly but the end end result are more antlered deer which means does included and tons of deer thus DVA's. Plus DVAs are the highest during hunting season (Oct-Dec) when hunters are out in the woods and animals running for their lives .

Seems that whats important to the hunting community is creating lots of deer especially trophy deer and could care less about human lives and would not want to waste a dime on DVA victims because its "not their fault" that large deer herd produced by them are running into cars.

What is the definition of "recruits" when it comes to deer ? to supply, to enlist, to renew, to raise, to regain, to replace, to obtain, to replinish and that is what the hunting organization does with billions of dollars every year after years to replace the slaughter deer especially the trophy/antlered deer. They even encourage deer supplement with deer feeder which can spread CWD for larger antler and herd size. All that production also causes deer vehicle accidents .

When hunters tell you about their "funds" that comes from the sale for hunting license used for "conseravation" the real fact is that "funds" are used to manipulate wildlife, burn down timbers and vegetation, clear cut forest, plant food crops and have they call "fawn recruits" and "fawn crops" .

You can tell everyone the truth about how without hunters the deer population would more than double. Why cant the public feed deer. In Minnesota it is legal to have feed or game supplements out but hunters are not allowed to hunt over them or hunt any trails leading to these feeding sites.
