Ford Sync. The simple act of driving is actually pretty darn complex. Add to that the distractions created by in-car electronics, mp3 players and cellphones and its easy to see why driver distraction has become such a problem. In an effort to simplify the control of personal electronics while driving Ford has partnered with Microsoft to create SYNC, a system that allows users to connect electronic devices to their car and control them simply by using voice commands. In this video, Kelley Blue Book's Micah Muzio explores the capabilities of SYNC with the help of his iPod, iPhone and his mother. It's great that this thing can search for specific tracks on the ipod. I believe the iphone voice feature itself doesn't allow that.
