The Silmarillion: Dagor Bragollach Trailer

This is something I made myself with my newfound animation knowledge. The idea came to me that no, the entire of J.R.R. Tolkien's Silmarillion wouldn't make a good movie, but it would sure make a great set of short or full sub-stories. They could be put together like the Animatrix. Having no real animation skill but wanting to do something towards the goal, I created this "trailer". It could use more work and narration, but I figured I'd spent enough time on it already. Maybe it will inspire someone?

I may or may not do more. If I had all the time in the world I would love to create my own animated version of the Silmarillion, yes.

WOW, that's all I can say! :D I LOVE it, you should really do the whole Silmarillion, the book is amazing and you made such a great job with this. Would love to watch a movie about the book!! :D:D

pretty good. i'm making a full movie of the silmarillion - the whole book compressed into a movie. it should be around 2011. and i already started making it. the book is amazing! jrr tolkien was a genious!!!! :)
