i see ure point, but toads cant help having that defence mechanism. in the cases where toads kill cats and dogs they are actually trying to defend themselves from being eaten. my teacher beats cats to death because they kill the wild life, and not just feral cats. i luv cats and think she is really sick. who is she to play god? killing toads is not something i enjoy doing, but i can see why it needs to be done. that doesnt mean you should be cruel, especially when a toad cant help being a toad.

@angelzpoo Yer, but when cane toads kill 3 of ur cats, and 2 of ur dogs... wouldnt u want to kill them... dogs arnt cheap... and neither are cats

@ice22girl It is animal cruelty. I live in Queensland and was asked at school to collect toads for biology. I have no problem with that because (like you said) toads are a pest. So why not just put the toad in the freezer and let it die painlessly? I don't see any need to beat it with a cricket bat, set it on fire, or run it down with a mower for simply for existing. A toad can't help being a toad. The death penalty in America is painless. Even child murderers and rapists aren't made to suffer.

Lawn mower... Ha best way to kill a cane toad, set it on fire... thats how we do it here in Queensland, well most of us.... i luv it how sum see us aussies : P
