@fatonskate Oh fuck you both, I love the books and I love the movie on its own merit. There is such a thing called theme and variation you know. If anyone tried to make DUNE true to the book people would have walked out after the first 20 hours of movie so give Lynch a fucking break already. He was tasked to make an American commercial success out of material that should have been made into a two day 48 hour marathon film watching experience.
