How to rip sprites from the super nintendo

Ya know... For this to be alot less time if you just disable the backgrounds and tilesets. That saves a load a lot of time...

Vivi one question.

Is it possible to rip sprites from a snes emulator other than the color black. because when somebody i rip has black on everytime i attempt to change the color his shoes and hair goes along with it. anyway you can help???

uhhh, sorry for taking a week but, i use to have the same problem with some characters. just put a little pink dot next to the characters sprite where the black begins, basically just draw an outline of w/e color your using as the background before you use the paint bucket tool
